Over the past fifteen years, Dick has been helping the two churches he’s pastored to become more missional, one near Vancouver, Canada and the other in New York. He is a 3DM frontier leader in the Northeast US.
Dick has a DMin in discipleship and mission from Northern Seminary and an MDiv from Regent College (Vancouver, BC). Prior to seminary, he spent three years doing missions work in Budapest, Hungary and three more in Washington, DC. In DC, Dick trained urban humanitarian leaders at the Congressional Hunger Center and helped start a multi-ethnic church.
Dick is passionate about discipleship, cultivating rich, biblical community (oikos), Biblical studies, and great coffee. He and his wife Anne have four great kids whom they homeschool.
